New Year's Resolutions

I figure if I can't keep New Year's resolutions I started in January, I might as well start a new resolution in November instead. With that, I'm going to be updating my tutorial website and start adding new content.

I just bought a new mixer/audio input device for my computer, m-Audio FastTrack Pro. It's a great little device, and with my existing microphones and sound equipment I can now create more "professional" quality tutorials.

Here's to new content in 2008!

Another iPhone site...

Now that Apple has dropped the iPhone NDA, I've started a tutorial site dedicated to learning, using, and programming for the iPhone.

www.freeiphonetutorials.com

I'm still updating the site and adding content, so check back often for all things iPhone.

Making money online

I found a cool new service on Skype today called Skype Prime

Now you can charge people for your time on the phone using Skype. They even give you a cool little snippet you can add to your website:

Flash, Flex, and Adobe AIR programming support

Having trouble getting that Flash/Flex website up and running? Need help with Actionscript 3? Want to know how to create an Adobe AIR application?

Call now

Only $0.75 per minute

I think this is a great way to leverage your skills as a programmer and really maximize your income. Now, I just have to sit back and wait for the phone to ring... ;-)

A new format

With the switch to Blogger to host my blog and tutorials, I've decided to post my tutorials on YouTube and then link to them here. That way I can save on bandwidth and insure a more reliable service.

The only drawback to hosting them on YouTube is the smaller format. I've got a few ideas on how to make the tutorials work on the smaller format. It may take a few tries to get it right, but in the end this will be a better solution for everyone.

The new home of Tutorials by iBrent

I'm moving my tutorial website to this here blog. I want to combine the blog and tutorial list into one convenient place, (as well as save on bandwidth!).

Look for a few visual changes as I get everything in order.
